Our Support Group
Overview
Our group consists of over 150 families from Kitchener, Waterloo, Elmira, and the surrounding area. We meet together regularly to encourage and support one another in our God-given task of educating our children spiritually and academically according to the inspired Word of God defined as the Historical Canon of the Old and New Testaments. We aim to do this by: regular support group meetings; sharing of information and resources; education and social group activities.
The opinions expressed by individual KWCHEA members do not necessarily reflect the views and perspectives of KWCHEA as a whole. We have many members from different walks of life and viewpoints and we respect each individual, their opinions and their own personal choices. We strive to support all families in their homeschool journey and continue to be a loving and welcoming community to both Christian and non-Christian homeschoolers in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.

Education and Social Group Activities
All of our group education and social group activities are planned and arranged by members of the group on a voluntary basis. Some programs seem to be repeated every year, but there is no guarantee that if a certain program runs one year, it will run the next year. All members are welcome to plan activities for the group.
Some of the programs that have run the past several years have been: gymnastics, symphony concerts, weekly co-ops, games drop-ins, soccer, speech competitions, swimming lessons, pottery classes, art classes, dance classes, judo, art show, skating party, Safety Village, educational programs at local museums, and numerous other field trips.
